To understand the nontriviality conditions, such as the one in formula (#eq:four#167>), one may think of a one-parameter family xT, #math28#T#tex2html_wrap_inline791#2πω-1, 2πb-1#tex2html_wrap_inline792# of periodic solutions, #math29#xT(0) = xT(T), with xT going away to infinity when #math30#T→2πω-1, which is the period of the linearized system at 0.
